my Portfolio!
My name is
Keziah Palmer and I am currently an 11th grade student at Roland Park Country
School.Throughout my years here at Roland Park I have had a persistent focus for
completing the STEM Institute. The first year I participated in our STEM program
was my freshmen year in high school. Since then, I have obtained various unique
skills that are available within the STEM field. After I have completed my
career with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, I choose to
further my career in Science. During the summer of 2015, I participated in The
Environmental Science Summer Research Experience for Young Women (ESSRE). ESSRE
is a three-week internship that focuses on environmental studies including soil
chemistry and biota on the Roland Park Campus.

My Soil Ecology Paper addresses the effect that car exhaust has on the soil on Roland Park Country School's campus.
Summer of 2015
My ESSRE paper focuses on the effects of decreasing rainfall on phosphate and humus levels at varying distances from a broken damn in Roland Park Country School's backwoods.
