Jordan Tapp's STEM Portfolio

Welcome, my name is Jordan Tapp and I am currently a student at the Roland Park Country School located in Baltimore, MD. Currently, throughout the course my high school career, I have had a tenacious focus on STEM. However, out of my selection of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, I prefer Science. During my  In addition, during the summer prior to my sophmore year, I attended the  Environmental Summer Research Experience for Young Women (ESSRE). ESSRE is a three week internship that focuses on environmental studies, soil chemistry and biota on the Roland Park Campus.

The Effect of Music on Short Term Memory.docx
This project looked at the impact of music on the short term memory of high school students.

Seasonal Change Poster
This project focused on manipulating the river of the Roland Park Backwood's community and seeing how the manipulations had to do with the seasonal change (fall to winter).

This project's focal point was analyzing the different ways  in which packaing is effective for shipping and other production purposes.

This presentation focuses on the achievement of studying different shapes using a programming software called scratch.

Platonic Solids Presentation.pptx
This project gives the historical background of the platonic solids and why many of the shapes have their names. It also gives the mathematical process as to why the shapes have their names.

This write-up is the final part of the three stage project where group members went through different stages to create a productt container.
